4.1 oz of Purebred Romeldale/CVM Roving – Oliver, Jeremiah & Echo

This roving is from Oliver, Jeremiah, and Echo, three of our purebred Romeldale/CVM sheep.  The fleeces from these sheep were blended into a single batch of roving.

Romeldale/CVM sheep are a critically endangered breed which are known for beautiful fleeces with next-to-the-skin softness.  CVM is a specific color pattern within the Romeldale breed.  Along with the CVM color pattern, Romeldales also come in white and a variety of natural colors.

The fiber for this roving was grown on our small family farm, carefully skirted and then mill processed.  Each batch of roving varies in color and texture slightly because fleeces do have variations from year to year.  Therefore, each batch of roving is unique.

Roving can occasionally have small pieces of vegetable matter missed by the washing and carding process.

Roving is perfect for spinning, felting and crafting.

Please note the actual color may vary slightly depending on your monitor/computer.
